Further Information:
An Autumn migrant bird which often stays on our islands during winter especially if it is a mild Winter. Some pairs remain resident on our islands, especially in Gozo. This photo was in fact taken from the garigue near Ramla l-Hamra, Gozo. Male has a red forehead and breast in Spring. Often trapped and placed in small cages to attract other free Linnets. Measures about 14cm.
